Activities & Missions

Monthly activities offer youth a place to build and strengthen community – a place where youth feel safe being themselves and live life to the fullest measure of what God intends.

More than ever service is an essential part of broadening our understanding of what it means to be Christian.  It carries youth outside their comfort zone, allows them to step-outside a “me centered” focus, and connects them with all of God’s creation – the many colors, nationalities, ethnicities, and religions.  In an age when the world has grown so small, youth must develop an increased worldview and their place as Christians in it.

Activities for January – March, 2010

Sunday, January 24: Parent / Youth Luncheon following the morning service

Sunday, February 7: Souper Bowl of Caring Collection during church service

Sunday, February 7: Lunch at Panara Bread following the morning service

Sunday, Febraury 7: Super Bowl Party @ church beginning at 5:30 pm

Saturday, February 13: Valentine Banquet Fundraiser – youth arrive at 4:00 pm

Saturday, February 27: Youth to DC to Ice Skate and have dinner @ the ESPN Zone.  Depart church at noon.

Friday – Sunday, March 5-7: High School youth to Eagle Eyrie

Sunday, March 7: Lunch at Panara Bread following the morning service

Saturday, March 20: Saturday Night Live (SNL) – location to be determined.
