Activities & Missions

Monthly activities offer youth a place to build and strengthen community – a place where youth feel safe being themselves and live life to the fullest measure of what God intends.

More than ever service is an essential part of broadening our understanding of what it means to be Christian.  It carries youth outside their comfort zone, allows them to step-outside a “me centered” focus, and connects them with all of God’s creation – the many colors, nationalities, ethnicities, and religions.  In an age when the world has grown so small, youth must develop an increased worldview and their place as Christians in it.

Activities; June – August, 2010

Car Wash Fundraiser – June 5 from 9 am – 2 pm at the church parking lot

Summer Nite Lites Bible Study and fellowships begin – Wednesday, June 16 and continue each Wednesday throughout the summer

End of school pool party – June 19 from 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm at the Duckett’s home in Warrenton

Youth / Parent Passport meeting – June 27 after morning worship

Passport – Macon GA – July 10 – 17

VBS July 26 – 30

Lunch and games at Hard Times Cafe (for those participating in VBS) July 27, depart after VBS

End of VBS pool party – July 30, place TBD

Lake Anna camping trip – August 13 – 14
