“These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.”
– Deuteronomy 6: 6-7

The cliché is true – children are our future. They are also precious, fragile, energetic, people who are quick to soak up all they hear, see, and touch.  They are very impressionable.

The children’s ministry team believes that the church’s role is to work in concert with parents by impressing in children’s hearts and minds the love of Christ.  Not only that, but the children’s ministry team seeks to create a space in our church where children feel safe, are engaged on their level, and enjoy church.

Weekly and monthly, the church offers opportunities that are both fun and that teach the important stories found in the Bible.  There are also fun, community building activities that occur during the year and range from the Living Nativity at Christmas to our annual Easter egg hunts.  Check out the monthly newsletter and weekly bulletin under the Publications tab and see what we have going on for children this week.
